After releasing their masterpiece album "Folie a Deux," Fall Out Boy has announced the dates for their upcoming spring tour Believers Never Die Part Deux in 2009. Starting on April 9th, fans with Fall Out Boy tickets can see Fall Out Boy live with over 30 dates across the country. And get this, Cobra Starship, Metro Station, All Time Low and Hey Monday are coming along for the ride - it's going to be insane!!

Fall Out Boy Live

If you haven't picked up "Folie a Deux" yet, Rolling Stone had this to say about the album - "In Fall Out Boy's world, tongue-in-cheek always trumps heart-on-sleeve.That's certainly the case on Folie à Deux, their most exuberantly cheeky release yet. It's also their most rock-star-ish. The guest list boasts names that only an A-list band could corral, from emo homeboys (Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy) to rappers (Lil Wayne, Pharrell) to eminences (Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry). The music suggests that Fall Out Boy, now firmly established as leading Gen Y rock torchbearers, are starting to think about their place in history."

Folie a Deux Release Date Pushed Back

Set to be released on Election Day 2008, members of Fall Out Boy felt it necessary to push the release date back. According to livedaily.com, drummer Andy Hurley had this to say about the decision- "I'm definitely happy we made the choice we did, it was such a monumentally important election. I just think I wouldn't have cared about our album if it came out that day. That's how exciting the election was. I would have been like, 'Man. Why is our record out? This sucks.'"

Fall Out Boy tour

A noble decision if I don't say so myself, and with their upcoming appearance at Bamboozle, fans will appreciate the wait. Folie a Deux, meaning a madness shared by two, will feature guest performances by Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heros, Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship, William Beckett of The Academy Is, Brendan Urie of Panic at the Disco, Debbie Harry of Blondie, Elvis Costello and Pharrell.

With an all star cast like that, Folie a Deux is clearly worth the wait. Who knows? Maybe guests will appear onstage with Fall Out Boy at Bamboozle, I've got my Fall Out Boy tickets to Bamboozle...do you?

Fall Out Boy Tickets Home

Although this band is less than ten years old, they have achieved legendary status paving the way for other innovative indie bands. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Fall Out Boy was conceived in a Borders Book Store when Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman met with their soon-to-be lead singer Patrick Stump; the rest is pretty much punk rock history. Like most high schoolers, these talented dudes had dreams of creating a band that rivaled and payed homage to the sounds of The Get Up Kids- what they produced was something in it's own league.
